Kapolres Simalungun AKBP Ronald F.C Sipayung, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., menyerahkan secara langsung bantuan kursi roda dan paket sembako serta bantuan dana tunai kepada Rokaya Siregar sebagai ketua Pengurus Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kabupaten Simalungun.
“Semoga bantuan ini dapat dipergunakan dan bermanfaat bagi bapak-ibu, jangan dilihat seperti apa yang kami berikan namun ini adalah bentuk kepedulian kami, sebagi Polisi abdi negara yang selalu peduli dengan rakyat,” Kata Kapolres.
Lebih lanjut AKBP Ronald menjelaskan bahwa, “Kegiatan Silaturahmi dan Bantuan Sosial dengan Pengurus Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kabupaten Simalungun ini bertujuan agar masyarakat dapat merasakan kehadiran Negara, saat ini Polres Simalungun memang sedang gencar menggelar kegiatan polisi humanis. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meringankan beban masyarakat sekaligus memudahkan masyarakat yang perlu pertolongan serta bantuan polisi.
Kapolres mengaku sangat bangga dan bersyukur atas kinerja yang sudah dilakukan oleh seluruh jajarannya dalam membantu masyarakat.
“Saya sangat bangga dan bahagia karena saat ini anggota Polres Simalungun sudah banyak memiliki sense of crisis. Sigap membantu masyarakat sekitar yang tidak mampu,” ucapnya.
AKBP Ronald mengajak seluruh personel Polres Simalungun agar tanggap dan tergugah hatinya, jika ada masyarakat yang tidak mampu dan perlu pertolongan untuk segera bahu membahu meringankan beban mayarakat tersebut.
Rokaya Siregar sebagai ketua Pengurus Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kabupaten Simalungun selaku penerima bantuan sangat senang dan bangga dengan kehadiran Bapak Kapolres di Sekretariat Sementara saat ini.
“Saya mewakili teman-teman Pengurus Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) mengucapkan terima kasih, atas bantuan yang telah diberikan oleh Bapak Kapolres Simalungun, semoga bantuan ini dapat bermanfaat dan dipergunakan sebaik-baiknya,” ucap Rokaya.
