Dalam rangka meningkatkan keamanan dan ketertiban selama gelaran Ops Aquabike Toba-2023, Polres Simalungun secara resmi mendirikan Pos Pengamanan (Pos Pam) di kawasan strategis Parapat, Danau Toba. Pembukaan Pos Pam ini diresmikan langsung oleh Kapolres Simalungun, AKBP Ronald F.C. Sipayung, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., pada Sabtu (25 November 2023) mulai pukul 08.00 WIB hingga selesai. Lokasi Pos Pam berada di dekat Pagoda Open Stage Parapat, yang merupakan bagian dari Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon, Kabupaten Simalungun.
Upacara pendirian Pos Pam ini dihadiri oleh perwira dari Polres Simalungun, antara lain Kasat Lantas AKP M. Haris Sihite, SE, Kasat Intel Iptu Teguh Raya Putra, dan KBO Sat Samapta IPTU Edi Syahputra, S.H., M.H. Selain itu, kehadiran 31 personel Polres Simalungun menambah kekuatan pengamanan yang signifikan untuk mendukung operasi tersebut.
Untuk mendukung operasional Pos Pam ini, Polres Simalungun juga berkoordinasi dengan berbagai instansi. Kodim, Brimob, Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub), Satpol-PP, dan Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) masing-masing menyumbang 2 personel untuk berkontribusi dalam keamanan dan pelayanan selama event berlangsung.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Polres Simalungun untuk memastikan bahwa event Ops Aquabike Toba-2023 berjalan dengan lancar dan aman. Pos Pam ditugaskan untuk mengawasi dan mengendalikan arus lalu lintas, menjaga ketertiban, serta memberikan pelayanan pertama kepada pengunjung yang membutuhkan bantuan medis. AKBP Ronald F.C. Sipayung menegaskan bahwa keamanan dan keselamatan para peserta serta pengunjung merupakan prioritas utama.
Dengan adanya Pos Pam di Parapat ini, diharapkan akan memberikan rasa aman kepada semua pihak yang terlibat dalam Ops Aquabike Toba-2023, sekaligus mempromosikan keindahan Danau Toba sebagai tujuan wisata yang tertib dan terjaga.
